Privacy notice

This notice under Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, No. 6698) explains which personal data the Bettoni Cakery website processes and why.

Which data?

With an account: your name, title, email, phone number and preferred language, optionally your date of birth, delivery address and newsletter preference; purchased courses, lesson progress, payment records (amount, date, status) and your messages with Aziza. If you order without an account, we store your name, email and phone number only for that order; for gifts also the recipient’s name, phone, address and the card message, only for the delivery.

Purpose and legal basis

To give you access to your courses, match payments and answer your questions (contract, KVKK Art. 5(2)(c)); statutory retention duties (Art. 5(2)(ç)). Newsletter and birthday greetings only with your explicit consent.

Cards

Card details are never processed or stored on this site. Payments are processed by an external payment provider.

Service providers

Supabase (database and login, servers in Ireland/EU), Brevo (sending confirmation, password and service emails and – with your consent – the newsletter, EU), Cloudflare (hosting and delivery of the website) and a payment provider (payments, Türkiye). Your data is therefore transferred abroad (KVKK Art. 9).

Stored in your browser

No tracking or advertising cookies. Only technically necessary information is stored in your browser: your login session and your language choice. Fonts are loaded from our own server.

Retention

As long as your account exists; payment records for the statutory retention periods. If you ask us to delete your account, the remaining data is deleted. Pictures uploaded for cake requests and offers are deleted automatically 30 days after the requested date.

Notifications

We only send promotional emails (new workshops and cakes, discounts and promotions) with your explicit consent. Service notifications without advertising (Aziza’s reply in the chat, a reminder before a course access ends) can be turned off. You can change both at any time under Settings → Notifications.

Your rights (KVKK Art. 11)

You can learn whether and which data is processed, request information, ask for correction or deletion, learn who data was transferred to, and object. Write to the email address above or to Aziza in the chat.
